Hey there friends!

If you follow a few of my campaigns, you might see a similar update just tweaked a little for each campaign πŸ™πŸΌ

I just wanted to give a huge ~*THANK YOU*~ for all of your patience and support! πŸ™πŸΌπŸ–€ I know this update is a little later than I had planned, but I want to be fully transparent and let everyone know what's been going on behind the scenes.

πŸ“¦ The delay shipping pins:
Shortly after my last update, I was grading and organizing the pins for the final shipping phase. Around this time, my mom had to have emergency heart surgery so I wasn't able to finish grading or ship any of the orders out because I was staying at the hospital a lot. After she recovered and came back home, I had to vend at several conventions & outdoor festivals that kept me on the road for a few weeks (and out of cellphone service at the outdoor shows 😩). I've also been going through some personal life problems during all this, so it's been *A LOT* going on in the background. But I promise I have everything lined up for shipping ASAP!! πŸ™πŸΌΒ 

This is basically me trying to do campaign work:




πŸ“¦ Shipping Update~

Because of the slight delay with getting these shipped out, I went ahead and unlocked the addresses temporarily and locked them again with a 2 day notice for any final edits! This is just incase anyone moved or need to make some changes. You'll get an email soon to confirm those details~

I'm basically at the point of setting up one huge super efficient packing station so I can just knock out shipping all at once! I'm hoping to get the first batch out by next week!! πŸ™πŸΌ

➑️ If you also ordered something from the Muerte & Magic campaign and combined shipping, those pins are almost done!! If you only combined orders with the insect campaign, you'll be in this first phase of shipping ^_^

Running several campaigns back-to-back definitely wasn't a part of my original plan. Looking back now, I really underestimated how much all of the campaign work would blend together πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’« It's definitely been a learning experience, and one thing I've taken away from this is that I definitely won't be running back-to-back campaigns again.

Moving forward, I want to make sure each project has the time and attention it deserves from start to finish and I'll be making that happen from here on out πŸ™πŸΌ My #1 priority now is getting everyone's orders packaged and shipped out ASAP!! ^_^Β

My collab partner Allison and I placed both of our orders together, so it’s a fairly large order that is taking a bit of time to complete. Rest assured, everything has been coming together in the background ^_^

πŸ“£ Myths of the Underworld additional update:

Sorry for the slight delay getting these pins out! Grading the pins took wayyy longer than I thought it would! It took me roughly about a month just to go through every single pin to make sure there were no errored pins being packaged up. It also took me a while to add all the pins to their own individual backing cards, add the chains by hand to all the Cerberus + Fenrir pins, and wrap each pin up in tissue paper.

I'd say I'm roughly halfway done packing orders up, so I'm doing this as fast as I can outside my regular day job. I'll send another update when I'm 100% done packing orders and ready to buy the shipping labels πŸ’Œ

πŸ“¦ Combined Shipping with Other Campaigns:

For those that are combining orders with the Pinned & Preserved campaign, I'll be confirming your address again once the other pins arrive~ So no worries if things might change later, I'll hang onto your order until the other pins come in πŸ’•


πŸ”— Deluxe Chained Pins:

The Cerberus and Fenrir designs will take a little extra time to grade since I’ll also be adding the chains on each pin myself before they’re packaged up.

πŸ“ Grading Process + Timeline:

This part takes a bit of time because I inspect every single pin by hand to make sure there's no errors or accidental B-grades going out. After inspection/grading is finished, I put each pin on its own backing card and wrap it up in tissue paper. Then I start packaging all the orders according to their packing list and everything gets double-checked before being sealed up.

➑️ This entire process should take me a few weeks, but you should start seeing shipping emails slowly trickle out as I work through each order ^_^ Just keep an eye out for your inboxes with a tracking number~

Hey everyone!

I wanted to share a long overdue update on Pin Quest: Myths of the Underworld. I’m really sorry this campaign has been quiet for a bit, there's been a lot happening in the background and I want to be transparent about the delay if you haven't followed my other campaigns.

Long story short: the delay came from running 3 campaigns (Pin Quest, Pinned & Preserved, and Pintober)Β  back-to-back with very little downtime in between campaigns. On top of overlapping campaigns, I was also dealing with several unexpected family emergencies that made it difficult for me to keep everything moving on the original timeline I had planned out.


πŸ™πŸΌ The long version for the delay (if you didn't see updates from the other campaigns)

➑️ Back to back campaigns:
While running Pin Quest, an artist that was part of the upcoming League of Science pin event asked me to join and asked if I could do more insect pins like in my Rebirth & Ruin campaign. I happily agreed, but I didn't fully anticipate how tight the schedule would be in between setting up & running multiple back-to-back campaigns, cleaning up lineart, and preparing artwork for the next event. I originally planned to have more time between Pin Quest and Pintober to clean up/vectorize the artwork, but with the added insect pin campaign I had to put a pause on cleaning up the Pin Quest designs in order to run the events on time.

➑️ Family emergencies:
During the middle of running Pinned & Preserved after Pin Quest, my mom was hospitalized due to a severe spider bite infection that required multiple surgeries to clear out of her system. Thankfully she made a full recovery πŸ₯ΉπŸ™πŸΌ Shortly after this, there was a cancer scare that required more testing back at the hospital, but thankfully that all came back negative. After this happened, my closest grandma passed away which was a very difficult loss to deal with on top of everything.

Once things settled down, I jumped immediately back into my work cleaning up the Pin Quest lineart for my manufacturer. Balancing campaign work in between these 2 family emergencies caused some delays getting production started, and I ended up a little overwhelmed and slower to check in than I meant to be. For that I sincerely apologize πŸ™πŸΌ I just want to be transparent about everything and I want to thank you all so much for your incredible patience during this time. It really does mean a lot right now (I also hope you all are taking care of yourselves too, I know life can be rough to everyone sometimes πŸ’–)


πŸ™ŒπŸΌ The great news is that pin production is finally finished after their super busy holiday season, and the pins will ship out to me soon! πŸ’–Β

➑️ If you didn't see the last email, orders will be locking automatically soon so I can get the final counts over to my manufacturer! Since the last update, they have been working on rendering the art to create the pin molds while they wait for my final pin counts to start mass-production.
